Inspiration to Dream

The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. ~ Deuteronomy 28:12-13

Who would not enjoy having enough savings, investments, and available cash to afford the lifestyle they want for themselves and their family? Why aren’t more people using their talents and gifts to benefit others and gain financial freedom? Could it be a lack of inspiration?

Inspiration involves seeking God’s guidance and embracing the promises and teachings found in His Word. Every day we should:

• Seek God’s Wisdom: Psalm 90:12, says, Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

• Trust in God’s Plans: Remember that God has a specific purpose for every stage of our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 affirms, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

• Continually Grow in Faith: Cultivate a deep and unwavering faith. Romans 10:17, tells us, So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

• Embrace God’s Strength: Sometimes, we get exhausted. Our physical and emotional strength diminishes, but we can rely on God’s strength to sustain us. He promises to be our refuge and fortress. Isaiah 46:4 assures that, Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

• Use Your Gifts and Talents: We should use our God-given gifts and talents to bring glory to Him and serve others. 1 Peter 4:10, tells us Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

• Cultivate a Heart of Gratitude: A grateful heart can keep us inspired and content as we dream of better days. Expressing gratitude to God and others for His blessings and provisions helps us focus on the positive aspects of life. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

• Stay Connected in Fellowship: Engaging in meaningful fellowship with other believers can provide encouragement, support, and opportunities for growth and inspiration. Hebrews 10:24-25 declares, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

When we stay inspired, we will accomplish the dreams that God placed in our hearts. Then, I believe that He will move us from a place of scarcity… to a place of enough… to a place of abundance.

God bless, I am Wiley’s granddaughter.
