Who would not enjoy having enough savings, investments, and available cash to afford the lifestyle they want for themselves and their family? Why aren’t more people using their talents and gifts to benefit others and gain financial freedom? Could it be a lack of inspiration?
Inspiration involves seeking God’s guidance and embracing the promises and teachings found in His Word. Every day we should:
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” ~ Genesis 1:26 As a child of poverty, I did not know how poor […]
Praise the LORD, my soul. LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty. ~ Psalm 104:1 When I was young, I loved being outside in nature. I found joy in watching the clouds shape-shift. Puffy clouds like balls of cotton candy, wispy clouds flowing as rivers of snow, towering […]
We spend so much time believing what people say about us, especially, the negative stuff! “You’re lazy.” “You’ll never amount to anything.” “You’re just like that no-good scumbag.” And on and on the belittling, mean-spirited, unkind words spew out. Hurtful words from our adversaries and sometimes even from friends and family.
Can we just be honest? Life is hard. Sometimes life gets so hard that your mind might tell you that you can’t handle it any longer. “If one more thing happens, I will literally just give up because it’s better than the alternative of just being in pain.” While I cannot say that death is or […]

Happy Holidays as we look forward to the New Year! As we leave 2022 behind—with its mix of joys and sorrows… successes and failures… blissful […]
To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1
Kobie, I know that there will come a day when I remember you and your loving canine companionship without feeling a profound loss. Today is not that day.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ~ Romans 8:28
My grandfather who lived to be 95 years old was a kind, humble, even-tempered Christian who would give you the shirt off his back. I don’t remember him yelling or arguing with anyone.
I shared with them that every believer has at least one spiritual gift. And that gifts are not only given to the preacher, deacon, choir director, or special groups—like the praise and worship team. Peter shared that God has given gifts to each of us from his great variety of spiritual gifts (1 Peter 4:10). Apostle Paul affirmed that each person has at least one spiritual gift (Ephesians 4:7; 1 Corinthians 12:7).
