May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.~ Romans 15:13
It is an honor to share a message of hope—a message of God’s love to those who are hurting, brokenhearted, and discouraged.
Many of us have walked through dark valleys, feeling alone, or faced challenges beyond our control. Maybe you are carrying burdens today that seem too heavy to bear. Perhaps you have wounds that feel like they will never heal. Let me remind you: You are not alone.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ~ 2 Corinthians 3:17 We can only imagine what it must have felt like to be one of Jesus Christ’s disciples during His crucifixion. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is one of history’s most heartbreaking moments. Filled with paradox […]
This morning, I listened to a song called “For My Good” by Maverick City Music, featuring Todd Galberth, Naomi Raine, and Chandler Moore. The song has a hopeful and uplifting message that feels perfect for the closing of the old year and the start of the new year.

Wrapped in our smug idea that we somehow were better because we were “more saved,” “more religious,” and “more Christ-like.” Our scarcity was worn like a badge of honor. I am now still grappling with this fallacy.
I am reading A. W. Tozer’s timeless classic, The Pursuit of God. In Chapter 2, I experienced a paradigm shift regarding wealth. I do not advocate prosperity theology or the prosperity gospel. Nor any such ideology. I digress…
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ~ Matthew 22:37-39 Last Sunday our Pastor asked the congregation to spend alone time with Jesus. […]
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ~ Psalm 46:1 Have you ever felt defeated, overwhelmed, and afraid? Trapped in a raging storm for far too long? In difficult times like these, we often search for a hiding place. Sometimes, we try to hide in excessiveness—booze, gluttony, lust—to name a […]
